Privacy at Viper

Last updated May 27, 2026. This policy explains what Viper AI collects, how we use it, and the choices you have when using the website, web app, and desktop app.

What we collect

Account data: your name, email address, Google sign-in identity, beta access status, and billing status.

Profile data: resumes, education, work history, skills, locations, job preferences, answers you save, and files you upload for applications.

Application data: job links, companies, roles, application questions, generated answers, automation status, browser session metadata, and submission outcomes.

Desktop app data: app version, operating system, local automation status, crash or error details, and update/install metadata needed to keep Viper working.

Payment data: plan, purchase, renewal, and receipt metadata. Card numbers are handled by our payment processor and are not stored by Viper.

How we use it

To match jobs to your profile, prepare application answers, fill supported job forms, and show you what needs review before submission.

To authenticate your account, enforce beta access, prevent abuse, provide support, process payments, and maintain security.

To debug automation failures, improve reliability, ship app updates, and make sure the desktop app has the browser components it needs.

To send product, billing, support, and security messages. Marketing messages can be opted out of, but service messages may still be sent.

AI and automation

Viper uses AI systems to classify jobs, score fit, summarize red flags, prepare answers, and assist form filling.

You are responsible for reviewing answers before submitting an application. Viper is designed to help you apply faster, not to guarantee jobs, interviews, or application acceptance.

We do not intentionally bypass paywalls, access controls, CAPTCHAs, employer security systems, or site rules. If a supported form requires human verification or login, Viper asks you to take over.

Sharing

We share data with service providers that operate Viper, including hosting, authentication, databases, AI infrastructure, analytics, error monitoring, email, and payment processing.

We may disclose information when required by law, to protect Viper or users, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.

We do not sell your personal information.

Security and retention

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards for the size and stage of the product.

No system is perfectly secure. Do not upload information you are not comfortable using in a job application workflow.

We keep account, profile, application, billing, and diagnostic data for as long as needed to provide Viper, comply with law, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and improve the service.

Your choices

You can update profile and application information in the app.

You can request deletion or export of your personal information by emailing team@viperai.fyi from the email tied to your account.

You can uninstall the desktop app at any time. Some local app data may remain in your operating system profile until removed by the OS or manually deleted.
